It's separate, not seperate.

My mom taught me the way to remember this is "you would want to separate yourself from A RAT." I know that's dumb but I've never forgotten how to spell it.

Also, it's ridiculous, not rediculous. I see this about 100 times a day between work and The Nest.

I feel like in ten years, it will be spelled rediculous, just because I see it eeeeeverywhere! It is kind of annoying.

This is why I LURVE firefox.  If it gives you the little red dots under the word, right click it and it gives you the correct spelling
