Hi, I usually lurk on TTTC and this board, and have seen several of your posts detailing your struggles with Fibromyalgia.  I hope you don't mind my asking, but I was wondering when and how you were diagnosed?  I've gotten a very preliminary diagnosis from my general physician, but she would like to send me to a specialist for a definitive diagnosis.  So far I've put it off, maybe because my feeling is that even if I do have it, what can they really do at this point?  My main problems are with chest and upper back pain, then of course all the reproductive stuff that's tied in.  I have a family history of fibro--both my mother and my paternal grandmother have/had it, and I know that family history is a stronger indicator of possiblity for developing fibro.  I guess part of me wants to stick my head in the sand and ignore everything.  Anyway, I'd appreciate any thoughts on your experiences.  Thanks!
