In the "Hippy" thread. I posted a really bad picture that was funny until you looked closer and was like "umm that might offend." It did, so I picked out a safer picture and replaced it, but I wanted to make sure people who were offended KNEW I had replaced it so I didn't get douchetastic douchy award of the day here (again).

Thank you for replacing it. My cousin has Down Syndrome, and that really upset me. She is a participant in the Special Olympics, and I know she would be really offended by that photo. She has been called 'retarded' before, and it truly does break their spirits. A teacher of her's was fired over it, actually.

I just wanted you to understand how it makes people feel. I understand that you really didn't think it through, but next time, remember that anything that makes fun of the Special Olympics or has the word 'retarded' in it is not a good idea. It's very offensive and hurtful. Thank you for taking it down.
