6. We sing carols Christmas Eve, and this year everyone has a stocking with their name hung over the fire as a new tradition. We also have cinnamon buns every Christmas morning.

4. got our tree this past weekend - it's up with lights, still need to decorate it. Christmas decorations are all around the house - stockings are hung, we start decorating during the first week of Dec.
5. Nope - Christmas morning. (when I was a kid though, we'd always open one gift on Christmas Eve)
6. I'm Italian and we do the 7 fishes, for Christmas Eve dinner - which I love and look forward to, every year!

No, but we will start making our own now that was have a little one.?

2. White ... but I prefer colored. The white lights are part of our pre-lit tree.

but it's better for the environment and easier cleanup if the cats decide to tip it on our hardwood floor.

6. My father would always read us The Night Before Christmas before putting us to bed growing up. Now I get to watch him do this for my daughter... making me tear up right now actually just thinking about it.

4. When do you start decorating? I put up our tree on saturday and started putting everything else out last night.
5. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Yes. DH & I open our gifts on xmas eve (we've done this since we were first dating).
6. Any traditions you'd like to share... Not sure but I want to start some. I am reading her a christmas story every night from a holiday story book that I bought her. I thought that would be fun to continue as she grows.
