My version of sleep training is giving her my boob BFing sucks for us because the second she gets on it she falls dead asleep. I will be writing a book about this and calling it the boob method. Maybe one day people will argue over whether my method is the best on a message board.
On a serious note though she is up for 4-5 hours down for 4-5 hours around the clock. I am grateful it is now 4-5 hours instead of 2-3. If I tried to make her STTN she would be starving because that is all she wakes up for. I couldnt type this before because she is sick and I was with her. I will never train herself to starve and will do a middle of the night feeding as long as she wants if your child doesn't want a feeding and sleeps happily that is awesome but mine does lol then again I dont come on complain about it.
I am going to go CIO now
Re: Sleep training
LMAO.
DD sleeps for about 5-6 hours now at a stretch, but if she wakes up, I feed her. Period. I figure, she doesn't wake up to be a pita, she wakes up b/c she needs something. So I take the sleep when I can get it, but if I need to get up, I get up. Books are great, but even the books say that before 12 weeks, don't expect miracles. You can't force a baby to do something that isn't natural to them, IMO. Does little Monkey fuss when she's awake at all?
She will fuss a bit yea shes just a fussy baby.
But I know at 8 12 and 4 she wakes up to eat because she waked up at 8 12 and 4 during the day to eat. So why would the night be any different. MY good friend still has to do a night feeding with her 11 month old.
I am glad baby Bic sounds like she is sleeping better. Yay!!
It took me thirty seconds to realize you didn't mean pita bread. I had a vision of a baby playing pita, a la playing opossum. Doh. ?
i love the boob method.
works like a charm
