When did you start telling people???

We told our parents and a few close friends over this past weekend.  Everyone was so excited!!!  I know it's early but we couldn't keep it to ourselves anymore.

    Both times we told our immediate family right away.  The first time because we were in the middle of planning our wedding and had to reschedule everything and the second time just because DH can't keep a secret.  We told friends as we saw/talked to them and I didn't tell work until I really had to.

     Congratulations on your pregnancy!

    We told our parents at six weeks, close friends at eight weeks, and everyone else around 12-13 weeks.  We've had a loss before, so we felt there's no "safe" time to tell people, but I wasn't comfortable telling people I wasn't close with until 12-13 weeks.

    Family/friends 11 weeks (Thanksgiving)

     

    work probably 16 weeks (New year)

    We told our family shortly after we found out (I was about 8 weeks).. but we waited until I got through my first trimester before telling everyone else.
