As a fellow nestie put it recently! Argh!! We go tomorrow for DD's birthday, Christmas, AND family pictures... oh boy, what was I thinking? Obviously she'll wear her Christmas dress (the red velvet dress from Children's Place), and I want something more casual for her birthday pics/our family pics. I like a turquoise/blue striped sweater and brown pants for her casual pics, so I'm trying to coordinate DH and my clothes to that... but of course, EVERY blue looks "off." What other colors would look nice with turquoise and brown?
I have a back-up outfit in case they let us do 3 outfits (Portrait Innovations) - cream onesie, red puffy vest, denim ruffle skirt, cream knit tights, red shoes. I thought about trying to match that outfit, but our only other family pics we did were cream/red/black, so I hate to repeat the same color scheme!
*sigh*
Re: Attire for family pictures... a.k.a. the bane of my existance
Dh & I so far have always worn black shirts & jeans in our family photos. ?After all, we're really just "backdrop" for the kids, LOL!
Here's our most recent:
Last time we went to PI, we had 4 outfits, including her diaper shots while she destroyed her cake.
For our family pics that were taken when DD was 6mo old, DH and I wore jeans and white shirts and DD wore a jean jumper with a white onesie under it.
