Help!! Tips to stop his finger from bleeding???

I cut DS's finger while cutting his nails-cut it too short, and it won't stop bleeding. Anyone have any tips??? I feel awful

just apply constant pressure and then put a bandaid on it. I know I felt awful when I cut DD's finger. I am scared to do it again

We had to cut a bandaid the long way and put that on and then wrapped it really well in medical tape so Bailey could not suck it off. It had bled for half an hour and she needed a nap. It worked really well for us

put the bandaid on pretty tight.  when we got to pedi (not that you should take your DC to pedi, but DH basically cut off the tip of DDs finger, didn't even touch the damn nail) the pedi was impressed with our "pressure dressing".

pressure and hold it over his heart. DH did it to DD too now he won't ever cut her nails again.

put pressure and vaseline on then bandaid the vaseline helps close it and stop the bleeding after a few minutes
