So when PP did you first try - what was it like?

for some reason I am a little nervous - give me the scoop please.

I've been approved but we haven't tried yet. We were going to this weekend but I started the mini-pill last week and now for some reason have my period showed up. SWEET.

8 weeks. It was not painful.

First baby - it was pretty bad. But I was honestly not ready for it and just did it for poor DH. Your first PP sex experience should not be a "pity lay", let's just say that...lol

One thing i learned from that was if you're truly not ready then you're not ready and should wait. BUT...a (big) glass of your favourite wine, maybe have the baby out with a sitter or grandparent, LOTS of time and patience and foreplay? And you'll be fine. 

After second baby, it was easier but I had a way easier recovery this time around.

8 weeks....no issues at all.

Shiznit, I just posted my issue above.  We just tried it on Saturday at almost 4 months PP.  I was cleared to go at 8 weeks PP but DH had surgery and couldn't until now.  It hurt at first but then got better.  But I bled afterward and now I'm really sore.  Hmmmm.

I just got clearance this morning, and I'm almost nervous thinking about tonight. DH and I were both counting down the days to my PP appt this morning, but now I'm wondering if I am ready to get back on that horse, as it were... I'm just afraid it will suck, I guess. Or hurt. Or both.

With my first we did it around 8 wks and it was horrible I criedn and it still hurt many times after that.  Sadly it is now 10 weeks and we still haven't.  We have been fighting alot, I don't feel like, DS is in our room, and I am scared to death to try.  We did buy some KY jelly recently so it might happen soon.

I was approved last Tuesday, tried this past Saturday and it failed.  My hip or something in that region hurt and then I had a burning sensation of some sort.  We stopped and I had to "help" DH b/c I felt bad.  Also, had to use a condom, which we both hate, b/c I haven't started the mini-pill yet.

did it 6 weeks pp, it definitely hurt even with a ton of lube.  it felt really tight, like i could feel a spot that felt like scar tissue maybe?  scared to try again but maybe in a couple more weeks.

from hearing all of the horror stories on here, i was very hesitant to try. but we did, and have maybe twice, and both times sucked.

it's kinda painful and so tight... it really feels like my dr did me a favor! lol
