EBF, No PPP and now EWCM????

I EBF and haven't had my first period or any signs of it.  This morning I noticed a ton of EWCM when I went to the bathroom.  Is it possible to ovulate without having your period?  I am nervous b/c DH and I had sex yesterday and I do not use any birth control.  YIKES!!!!!!

Same exact thing started happening to me. And it hasnt stopped for almost 2 weeks (Sorry TMI). We have been using condoms though just in case.

I think you ovulate before your first post partum period.

Yes, you can ovulate without AF. My boys' pedi told me that the chances of conceiving fraternal twins increase while EBF, too.

Thanks Chalm, I was just feeling better about our decision to "go with the flow" when it comes to sex and now you tell me there is a higher chance of twins?!  Now I'm freaking out again.

Oh my.  Guess we need to start being more careful! 

Chalm, twins run in my family too so I could be doubling my chances!  Literally!

EWCM precedes ovulation, which precedes your period. All women are different when breastfeeding. Some don't get their period until they wean, while others aren't so fortunate.
