Formula Moms- Constipation?

I just switched from Similac Advanced to Sensitive and my DS is constipated. Only a tiny pebble comes out and he is in pain.  It has only been 48 hours since I switched.  Anyone have this happen???  It seems I eliminated spit up but now we have another problem!!

I'd check with your pedi - ours wanted us to try giving her some prune juice (gerber makes a baby apple-prune juice).  We gave her about 1 oz per day and it helped her constipation.

But then we discovered that dd has silent reflux and the juice was hurting her.   So now we're back to square one, too.  We've gone a couple days without prune juice, and she doesn't seem to be constipated (she's on Similac Isomil b/c pedi thought it'd be easier for her to digest).  So we'll see.

My DS was constipated about a week when we switched formulas we gave him a little prune juice in every bottle. Now he is fine. So maybe it takes a little adjustment.
