Wow.   We gave our LO a full bottle of formula for the first time in weeks tonight and she is out cold.  I had been fighting it , but found that tonight I just needed a break.   A very good decision, now I can get ahead with some pumping.

So do you BF usually? I was just wondering because my mom would give us a bottle of formula every once in a while. I didn't know if babies could tell a difference in taste or if they even cared.

She had a li ttle formula before she was 2 weeks old due to supply issues, but none since.  She loved it

DS won't take formula at all, from anyone. He won't take a bottle of EBM if I'm anywhere in the house.

This may become a semi-regular thing.   If I've got pumped breastmilk she'll get that, but otherwise her last feeding of the day will be given by my husband.  /he enjoys it so much and it gives me a break.
