DH takes out the garbage on sunday night. Every week I tell him that the empty boxes can't go out the night before because they blow away. Every week he puts them out anyways. Somehow he does not understand the physics of wind and empty boxes.

My DH has forgotten to put the trash out for the last 3 weeks. Our can is now overflowing.

This week if he doesn't remember, im putting it all in his car and he can take it to the dump.

Thank goodness we have recycling and can break down the boxes and put it in the bin.  Our recycling bin is like a regular trash can, just in gray and with the recycling logo on the side.  Its GREAT.  I love my county

Me too.  On wednesday we have trash pick up.  Our saturdays alternate between recycling an green waste.  It may be a pita to remember what to put out, but as long as we put out the same bin as the neighbors, we're safe.
