DD is starting to grow again. I feel like I should buy her clothes for Christmas in addition to the toys, but then think she won't even notice if they are juts hung up in her closet.
I was wrapping her gifts last night and I counted 13. I think she has enough to go under the tree, but I'm not sure we wil get the reaction from clothes.
Re: Do you give clothes to DC for Christmas?
I never give clothes as gifts, the kids don't care about them at all. I also don't like giving necessities as gifts (at least until they are teens and actually want clothes for Christmas).
This may stem from my IL's though. They give all of us (kids too) toothbrushes, clothes, plastic bowls, etc for Christmas and I think it's lame.
I do, but DD is 3 and loves getting new clothes! She got 2 new outfits from gymboree, 2 pairs of PJs and a new pair of sneakers and I think she'll be just excited to open them as she will all of her toys.
I also really appreciate when family members buy her clothes for her birthday (which is only 10 days before Xmas) and Christmas -- I'd much rather have clothes than toys that she won't likely play with more than a few times.
DD loves getting new clothes so I would if she needed them.
