Good baby gate?

My friend is borrowing my copy of Baby Bargains so I can't look in there right now.  Does anyone know if there is a recommendation on baby gates or does it really matter?  DS is really starting to crawl now and we need to get some.  Probably 2 because of the layout of our house.  Or maybe a recommendation for a good place to get them?  Lowe's is just down the road.  But if Target or someplace is better we can go there.

Baby Bargains says the best brand is KidCo. They make the Gateway, Safeway and Elongate.  They actually recommend Lowe's and Home Depot for childproofing stuff but I would call to see if they carry gates there.  Are you looking for a gate for a certain area like top of stairs etc?

Thank you!  I do remember seeing gates at this Lowes (2 of them I believe) so awesome!  We're just looking for them for doorways and the doorway thing b/w the living room and hallway.  Thanks again for the info!
