What's the least expensive convertible car seat with a 33 lb or higher wt limit?

My little niece is about to outgrow her infant seat.  I want to get the convertible for them, but can't afford to buy a marathon like I did for Sam.  She's a chunker, so I definitely want the higher weight limit because I'm pushing my brother on the extended rear facing.

I think the Cosco Scenera is pretty cheap. I think they are like $45 t Target and Walmart.

I've heard good things about the Cosco brand seats like the pp said.  Just do some research on whatever model you choose.

Yup - Costco Senera is cheap.  It's not as comfy as the Britaxes, but completely safe.  It's similar in the weights, I think, and installation and all that.  We have two for DH's car and traveling.  The girls road around in them all week last week when we were at Disney and visiting my parents and didn't complain.  In fact, they slept in them as well as their Britaxes and DD#1 keeps asking for hers back because it has a prettier cover than her Britax.  They're usually under $45 at Walmart.  There's a brown and black one and sometimes a pretty pink flowery one.

The Costco senera is a good seat rear faces to 35 lbs and forward faces to 40 lbs.  It has a short harness so around age 3-4 you have to buy a new harnessed seat for a few more years untill she can sit in a booster seat.

Evenflo advanced is a good seat it has the same harness height at the Britax does rear faces to 35 lbs and forward faces to 50 lbs.  (kids out grow a car seat in height before weight)

 

First years true fit is a good seat also.  Same height and weight limits as the britax seats.

 I dont know what price you want to stay under thats why I did some differant price ranges but all are under $200
