DD just fell off the couch

I was sitting right in front of her and turned my head for 2 seconds because the dog was barfing and then I heard a thud. She was on her back screaming. I swept her up and cuddled her for a good 10 minutes while she cried. I checked her over and she looks alright. She seems fine now. Should I call the doc or just keep an eye on her? I feel so horrible. It's about a 1.5 to 2 foot fall. I fell out of my high chair when I was a baby but I am still a little freaked. I feel like a bad mommy.

Unfortunately, we've all had those moments...you're not a bad mom.  Go with your instinct.  It can't hurt to call the pedi.

I know how you feel. DS has fallen off the couch twice, and off our bed twice (once while my mom was watching him). It does just happen so quickly, and it just breaks your heart. I'm sure she'll be fine, but call your pedi if you feel better doing it.

This happened to me and I called the pedi (for my own sanity) but she just told me to watch DD, check her for any bumps, fever, vomiting, excessive sleepiness, and wake her up every 2 hours to check on her. Don't feel bad its ok it happens no matter how closely we keep an eye on them they will eventually have bumps and bruises.
