Good idea or stupid?

DH and I put spending limits on our gifts to each other for Christmas this year so I'm having to get creative.  I was thinking of starting a Facebook page for DH since he has no idea how to go about it - getting all of his frat brothers around the country and our local friends as friends on his page, and then turning it over to him when it's set up.  WDYT?

That sounds like a nice gift.  He would appreciate all your work.  Much more thoughtful than grabbing something off a shelf.

Give him sex coupons.  And naked pics of you.  You need a digital camera and a printer at home or a polaroid.  Too bad they stopped making PopShots cause I used to have a lot of fun with those...

Hmmm...

I think about 75% of the fun on Facebook is finding friends or old acquaintances that you miss.  I think if it was ready-made it the thrill would be gone.

Also, do you think his old frat buddies would like his wife setting it up?  I think it would be a little weird.

I think that's a very good idea... I know I really loved getting back in touch with college friends.  The only problem would be if his friend's don't have a facebook page or want one.

I agree with pp that the fun with Facebook is "discovering" old buddies.  You know your DH best, though!

Is it something he would use if you set it up?  Is it something he wants to do?  My DH could careless about Facebook so me setting him up an account would be stupid.
