Why the heck does he insist on "becoming" the microwave every time I put DS to bed? ?At least he isn't screaming my name and literally demanding his dinner tonight, but he is still being quite loud. ?
Maybe I should give him some "outside play time" to see how he likes the snow. ?(kidding, of course)

Re: I hate my parrot.
Don't let me discourage you from getting one. ?He is a pretty fascinating pet, actually. ?He speaks in my voice, and my husbands voice. ?He also is starting to speak?Portuguese?(our live out nanny is from Brazil). ?He calls the dogs, and yells at them when they are barking. He says "bless you" if someone in the house sneezes. ?He also cries like DS and imitates the baby monitor when the batteries are dying. ?
If you are considering one, I would wait until your DC is older. ?I am learning that babies and parrots do not mix for a variety of reasons. ?The noise is the least concerning part. ?DS usually sleeps right through it.?
You ever get that forward about the guy who had a parrot driving him crazy, so he threw it in the freezer, and it shut up after a few minutes. When he opened the door the bird walked out, apologized and asked "Okay, so what did the chicken do?"
And my mom's neighbors have parrots that bite at their kids (3y and 22m) all the time.
