U/S tomorrow and I have a question.

My u/s lab called and wanted to know why I did not come for my bloodwork today.   I was never told I needed blood work. She said she would call back to see if it was ok to have the u/s without the blood work.  I have never heard of this.  Why would the need blood work to complete an us?  Is it routine?  Do you think they want to know my levels since I had spotting?

I didn't have blood work done before. That is weird.

That's odd. Never heard of it either.
