They are somehow communicating behind our backs, conspiring against us.  WTF is up with all of the babies waking all the ever loving time?  They are tiny little terrorists wreaking havoc on the mommies of the bump.  They are to be taken very seriously.  Tap their phone calls, screen their emails, do not let this continue. We must take them down.  USA, USA, USA!!!11

I want to know who told Seth it was cool to wake up every hour during Mommy's sleep time (aka the middle of the night), but that once she had to get up to get ready for work, it was totally okay to sleep longer than an hour at a time.  Because whichever baby told him that needs to be STOPPED!  For my sanity!

They're all trained commando operatives in my opinion. That's why they're able to function on 1 hour of sleep a day.

Their cuteness is nothing but a cover for the takeover plan that lurks beneath.

Madeleine = adorable, of course, but I freaking LOVE your floors.  Beauuutiful!  My husband is kind of hardwood-obsessed so I take notice of lovely flooring!  hehe

It's funny that you say that.  I was just thinking they need some work. lol  The house is about 90 years old and I have no idea when the last time the floors were maintained, but in some places there are pretty wide grooves between the wood and subsequently I have a hard time keeping crud out of there.  My floors never seem really clean.

My house is really old, too, so I know how ya feel.  DH's friend has wider plank floors (ours are pretty small and tight together) and did a really neat trick that was apparently used on old ships?  He took rope and put it between the wide gaps after the floors were sanded.  Then he stained/poly-ed over them so they stay in place.. it looks really awesome and does the trick of plugging up those gaps!  Not sure how much of a DIYer you are, but he said it wasn't that difficult.  We redid our floors ourserlves and it was a kind of long, annoying process (we have a really small house with one real exit that works, so we had to be out of the house for hours and hours at a time!) but the payoff was awesome.

That sounds cool.  We don't own this house.  We rent from a relative.  I think about the possibility of buying it some day.  We would definitely have to become DIYers because there is a lot of work that needs to be done.  Also, if we were going to stay here long term, we would need to add on.  I absolutely love this house, but people just don't live the same way now as they did in 1918.
