Abnormal MRI

Chris' MRI came back abnormal and now the next step is going back to a neurologist.  I want to crawl in a hole and stay there for a while.....

He's been having seizures.  He had two tonic clonic and he's been having little ones daily that range from absence seizures to tic like movement.  We've had 3 EEG's on him that all came back normal but he's continueing to have seizures daily.

Hopefully, the neurologist will be able to prescribe a baby dose of something to help get the seizures under control.  I take Trileptal but have tried just about everyone under the sun....for absence seizures.  Best of luck!!!

We've had some tough medical ordeals here. My heart goes out to you! Hang in there. Just take it one day at a time, one doctor visit at at time and process as you go.

(BTW, I think you posted yesterday that he only has one word? My friend's daughter was speech delayed from having recurrent seizures. There may definitely be a connection.)
