Question about diaper sizes

Ds is about 12 lbs.  If I order 2 boxes of Pampers Swaddlers size 2 (12-18lbs) do you think will he outgrow them before I use them all?  I know they usually start leaking before they reach the recommended max weight.
DS1 10-06 and DS2 9-08 and baby #3 EDD 9-05-12

    I don't think so.  DD went through lots of diapers at that age.  I would be more worried if he was on the larger end of the size.

    We were in size 2 diapers a very very short while...I wouldn't get 2 boxes.

    DS was long and lean. I switched him to size 3s at about 5 months (20/21 weeks) At that point he was a little over 16 lbs.
