NBR: hit and run victim fundraiser

I hope this isn't entirely inappropriate, I'm really not feeling like a flame on this one, I just wanted to throw it out there. It's a friend of mine since college and it sucks...

Friends of hit-and-run victim Brian Hickey have organized a fundraiser to help the local journalist's family pay for medical expenses. Hickey was hit Friday night and was still in a coma Monday at Cooper Hospital. Friends of Brian Hickey are holding a Beef and Beer Fundraiser

Place: The Tap Room (formerly RMac's) in Westmont, NJ.

Date:  Friday, December 12th

Time: 7pm-11pm

Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. A 50-50 will also be held. All proceeds will be given to Brain's wife, Angie. If you wish to pay with a credit card in advance, please contact Shawn Rutter at 856-325-8646.

I heard about his story this morning on Fox29 News. 

It is such a shame that people are cowards and will not fess up to the things they do whether it was a mistake or not.  Now if the shoe was on the other foot they would be screaming for someone to come out say something.
