how to take a photo for Christmas Card?

I was going to use one of our prof. pics from our recent photos until I found out they were $3 per card. I just cannot afford that right now so I am thinking of using shutterfly again this year but I have no clue how to get a good pic of my DS. Any ideas? Thanks so much guys!

  • I just orded mine at walmart.  They're $.33 per card.

I just shoot a ton of pics over a few days and then choose.  I end up with a bunch of bad ones and then some cute ones to.  The best ones I usually get by accident.

  • I gave up posing M because she's just not into it. So the other day I just started clicking pictures and this is the one I decided on.

You could also use shots that you took this year. I did that last year...used a good apple orchard shot.

  • I go to Portrait Innovations for our pictures & I just upload the pictures onto my computer & use them at shutterfly or snapfish or walmart.  Sometimes it will tell me that the picture's resolution is too small but they have always turned out so I just ignore it.
