anyone else a hypochondriac?

I am so bad. I will sit here and think of all the things my poor children might have.  currently I keep worrying my littlest one will ended up having cystic fibrosis.  Why....  He chokes alot and is phlegmy.  Ridiculous I know! I must have too much time on my hands at night.

I am but I'm not?  It's like every time I go to the dr I feel guilty for wasting their time... like I'm the anti-hypochondriac.  EVERY time I've gone to the dr I have something wrong so I'm 100% accurate when I need to be seen...

But in my head I have all sorts of things...brain tumor, a twin in my arm (a very odd lump that the dr says is ok and to remove it would create major scaring), on and on... heart attacks when I have weird chest pains.  i always think of the WORST thing.

My mom had me when she was in med school and she did what all med school students do - overdiagnosed me.  I grew up getting tested for all sorts of weird stuff when I was a kid.  Of course when there was something actually wrong with me, she didn't believe me (ie, when I had kidney stones).  So now I always jump to conclusions at the slightest sniffle that Luc might have, but write off any major pains that I have.
