Did anyone buy the Lightning McQueen car for their ds?

I'm seriously considering it because he loves that movie so much that he walks around quoting it all day.  "Boy, you're in a heap of trouble."  If you got it, what do you think?

We didn't. Our rental house is tiny and we don't have too much extra money this year. But we did get tons of other Cars stuff (Mega Blocks sets, smaller cars, etc.). Tell me what he thinks if you do get it! I'm sure he'd love it.

Oh, and my DH insisted on getting DS the Cars bike. *rolls eyes* He barely rides a tricycle.

I wonder if they'll ever do Cars 2. Ethan's been Lightning's biggest fan for 1.5 years now. We went to see Disney on Ice over the weekend and they had very little of cars in the show oh well....

Lol at the bike. Sounds like something my dh would do.

I'm gonna call TRU before I go there tonight to make sure it's in stock since shipping is $50.  If we get this, it will be one of maybe 3 gifts since it's so expensive.

Is his room decorated in the Cars theme too?  My mother did it and it's beyond ridiculous but if it gets him to sleep in his room, it's fine with me.

I saw this after we were pretty much done shopping for him and it's too expensive to get as another gift.  I would love to have gotten it for him.  He seriously would not even know what to do with himself if he saw that under the tree!!  He is soooo in love with anything CARS.  He knows the whole movie by heart and likes to make his little cars act out the movie.  I showed it to my parents though and they wouldn't tell me what they bought for him so he might be getting it.

My ds likes to act out the movie too.  We have every character, even the smaller ones like Snot Rod and Wingo who have maybe one line.  His favorite line is, "I think we got ourselves a nodder".
