Nursing more at milestones?

DD is almost one.  I figured she'd be nursing just a few times a day but nooooo she's nursing more than ever.  Could be that she's on a growth spurt or maybe I am about to get AF.  Also, I have been off work for 5 days.  I don't know. 
DH thinks it's because she just started walking. 

Any experience?

Yep!  Any big changes or milestones brought on lots of nursing!  Also when I was off of work for an extended amount of time (I'm a teacher) he also nursed more.  It will pass like everything else!

My DD was the same way. I figured it was because we travelled to England right around her 1st birthday and so it was all new/scary, but she was a nursing fiend for a few days.
