anyone use recycled sweaters for overnight?

i have varying thicknesses available and I'm wondering if combining them or using the thicker stuff would even work.

I have a KCK soaker that Glad made me.  She made it from a cashmere men's coat, & I believe it has at least 4 layers in the soak zone.

I do. I have a couple cussin crafter soakers that are just double layer 100% wool sweaters. I use two prefolds overnight (two is overkill but he was soaking through pul covers in just one) with wool and no leaks since.
