Has anyone ever made creme brulee?

I absolutely LOVE it and would love to make it for Christmas dinner dessert, but I have no clue how. Any advice?

    We make it, but are lazy and just use the Williams-Sonoma mix and sugar for it. I haven't made it from scratch before. You just need ramekins and a kitchen blowtorch.

    really not that hard.  But yeah, you need one of those blow torches (and the butane or whatever the fuel the torch you have needs).  I forgot about the fuel and so I had to go racing out to get it. 

    Those little blow torch kits come with recipes and thats what I've always made.  Yummy!
