Good morning! Just checking in before breakfast and then off to shop and get pics of Jack done. I think we are going to put up our tree today, going to try our artificial first and if it looks too little go and get a real one this week.
I'm kind of here. The baby (I'm gong to have to stop calling her that - she'll be one before I know it) is eating some bananas and I'm about to have to go make pancakes with DS.
I think I'm using the rain today as an excuse to do nothing. We put our tree up on Friday (we used to get real trees, but after a falling disaster a few years ago, we got a pre-lit fake one and love it - someday when the kids are bigger and care, we'll go back to real).
I wish the Christmas hype didn't start so early though - my 3-year-old is bouncing off the walls and it's a month away...
Me too. DS and DH are in still in bed and I'm listening to the rain. We bought our tree last night. We will be decorating it today. We put all the outside lights and wreaths up yesterdasy. I am so excited about Christmas this year. DS is loving all the lights on everyone's houses. I know he doesn't get the whole concept of it this year but he does understand some. We have been telling him about Santa and he is sooo excited. Everytime he sees a Santa (real or fake) he tells him what he wants. The other day at my moms she had a hand towel in her kitchen hanging on her oven door and it had a Santa on it. Cooper went up to it (out of the blue) and started sayong choo, choo's trucks, cars, toys, M&M's. It was soo cute. I have got to stop buying him stuff. It's just too easy this year, there are soo many things he would like! What have you bought for your DC's? Does your oldest understand somewhat?

That's adorable!
He doesn't quite get it yet, though we've been telling him about Christmas and presents and "if you're good", etc.
We'll see. But I agree, it's SO much fun to buy them stuff this year because they're just at the perfect age!
