RP - Daily Folic Acid and Asprin

Hi! I havent been over here in a while, I have had 2 m/c's and DH and I are ready to try again, I have to go on a high dose of Folic acid daily and one asprin a day for a month before we TTC, anyone else doing this? are their any side effects? feel any different? I am going to clal my Dr on Monday to get the prescriptions but I thought I would ask here, thanks!!

 oh - and what mg of Asprin and Folic Acid are you on?

Hi. I take both low dose aspirin (81mg) a day and 4mg folic acid in addition to the folic acid that is in my pre-natal vitamin (800mcg in the vitamin).  So I am getting almost 5mg folic acid/day.  Have you been diagnosed with MTHFR and/or Factor V Leiden? I have both disorders and I have also had two losses, the second was twins.

I take the same. 3 additonal mg of folic acid, my PNV and lose dose aspirin.  I haven't had any side effects from these.I too am diagnosed with MTHFR.

I take an 81 mg dose of aspirin along with 5 mg folic acid and my prenatal vitamin.  I was also diagnosed with MTHFR.  I have not had any side effects, but I swear my hair has gotten thicker (it could be my imagination).  :-)
