I know that they are pretty in tune with how I am feeling, but I just found it interesting. Every time I get up, even if it's just to go to the bathroom, they follow right behind me.

My cat has also been complaining more--as if I'm not giving her enough attention.

I am curious if the kiddos (pets) also know I'm pregnant. *shrugs* Just a thought to throw out there.
I have had migraines since I was a kid, always completely debilitating. First pregnancy, I had mild headaches through the whole thing, but not a single migraine. Second pregnancy, my first trimester was filled with migraines. I'm now on my third pregnancy and I'm getting severe migraines 2-4 times per week. I'm 6 weeks today and am really hoping this isn't the norm for the next several weeks. Any advice from other mommas out there in the same boat? What works for you (since Tylenol is all the medication we have, and it doesn't do much for migraines)? The pain is rough, and worse, I'm missing out on family time when I have to lay down to treat a migraine all day/night. Help, please!

I had an early miscarriage last August. It started as I got done with a half marathon. I know they say running is fine, and that I probably wasn't too blame but I still just feel scared to keep running. It feels fine to run though. I train for and run several marathons a year. I am signed up for 2 still this year. Not sure what to do about those quite yet. Are there any other runners out there that can relate? Are you continuing your training?
I had my 1st ultrasound today. It didn't go as expected necessarily. According to LMP I would be 7w5d. US revealed just a yolk sack. He said that would mean I'm very early 5 to 5.5 weeks. He said the yolk sack looks nice and round and not collapsing as he would normally see in a failing pregnancy. He also said he could see "a little flicker" down in the tissue and that would be a very early heartbeat. He prepared us for the possibility of a miscarriage. I have only had 1 pregnancy before this one and my daughter is now 6. I didn't even have a US until I was almost 16 weeks with her and didn't heart her heartbeat until then so I would have never know there was anything wrong....
I'm just nervous.
Anyone with similar experience?
Pray if you pray send good vibes if you don't pray. THANK YOU.

Hey everyone!

So we just found out we are expecting baby #1 finally after almost 6 years of TTCing. Exactly four years ago, we went through this and it ended in a miscarriage August 1st 2011. Weird I know. I still can't wrap my mind around it and just how crazy the timing is. We almost got to the point of giving up and accepting it was never going to happen and now......... Anyway, every little cramp, pinch, twinge sends me to the bathroom freaking out. I have taken at least six tests and I stare and analyze them like crazy. I keep Googling things (I know...Google is not my friend right now). Our first prenatal appointment is August 6th and I'm thinking about calling my dr to see if I can at least have labs done earlier. What do you ladies think?

Please help calm me down. I'm trying to relax but I'm terrified of another loss.

Hi.. I'm 36, pregnant with 3rd child. I have an 11 yr old and 7 yr old. All my pregnancies were planned. I'm a lesbian and my partner and I did at home insemination from a donor. I live my partner very, very much but I feel so incredibly lonely I almost don't know what to do. Her job is stressing her out and she gets depressed sometimes but I feel like I'm all alone in this. She works, then comes home and takes at least 3 hour naps every single day. I'm a stay at home mom and miss her alot when she's at work. Yesterday she laid down before the kids and I even got home, which was at 2:30 pm, and stayed in bed until 9 pm. when she got up, I was so upset. We got into an argument because I let her know how I feel, I feel lonely, like I have no support at all emotionally, and I need her more. I cried so bad. I'm very depressed right now due to hormones and just general pregnancy worries. I told her I needed her more. Fast forward to today, she laid down at 4:30 and is still in bed, and its 10:09 at night. I've tried getting her up twice, and she just says she's tired and continues to lay in bed. So here I am on a Friday night, spending it completely alone in a quiet, dark house. The loneliness is almost too much to bear. I need her so much, her hugs, support, and to just be there for me, and I'm not getting it. I've cried myself to sleep lately. To top it off, my family and parents don't agree with my lifestyle of being a lesbian and think I'm going to hell, and I'm wearing off of 20 mg of Lexapro. I'm really in bad shape right now emotionally but I'm trying to be strong. Am I over reacting or expecting too much of her? Being too needy? How would y'all feel if your husband or partner just wasn't there for you? I really need someone to talk to, any words would help, I'm reaching out for support. Thanks :-(

She prescribed a progesterone pill and I am starting it immediately. I go back in on Monday to have my levels checked again.
Anyone go through anything similar?
I was also told that this is common especially considering I got pregnant so soon after my mirena removal.

I had my initial ob visit today. I am 5 weeks yesterday according to my last menstrual cycle. I had a positive test at 4 weeks.
This is my 3rd pregnancy and that has been my previous experience. I have seen the same dr for all of my pregnancies and at the first visit not much occurs, just scheduling ultrasounds and blood work and return in 4 weeks. I'm usually given a due date and offered prenatal vitamins (I'm already on otc ones while ttc). Today however he had a small ultrasound type device and used it but was unable to see anything. He asked me how many tests I took (1) how late I was (8 days)symptoms (none) etc. He said it was a little early to see so he scheduled me to see him again in 2 weeks. Dh and I both got a weird vibe. That was it for the visit aside from a medical history. I went home and took another test. Still positive.
Thoughts? Anyone have this happen?
Eta: he asked if I had spotting or cramping (no) and to call immediately if I had any.
