I hadn't even thought of this before... just figured I'd always have a private room after delivering but a post on another board made me think about this. After labor and delivery, do you get a private room or can you pay extra to ensure a private room?

I will be in Florida (St. Petersburg) for a company meeting and was thinking of heading over to Orlando for a couple of days. MH and DS will be with me and we don't want to do the whole Disney thing b/c he's only 7 months and won't really enjoy it. Is there anything that we can take him to that is free or cheaper than Disneyworld/seaworld etc.?? Any recommendations will be appreciated

I used to get menstrual related migraines before I got pregnant and now it seems like I have had a headache everyday this week!

I dont want to take anything for them but sometimes I break down and take a tylenol or two.

I am having a difficult time finding an obstetrician who delivers at Tampa General Hospital but has an office in the Brandon / Valrico area where I live. I initially checked my insurance's network but their information was not accurate about hospital affiliation. I found out when I called the OBs on the list who were supposedly affiliated with TGH but found out they weren't. My daughter was born at TGH and I feel most comfortable with that hospital. Does anyone happen to know a good OB/Gyn in Brandon/Valrico affiliated with TGH?

My DH and I have decided to make the Tampa/surrounding area(s) our new home this coming spring! I have just started looking at homes (renting, not buying) online and was wondering if ya'll had any advice on specific areas that would be good for a family with small children (DD is 13 months and we plan on TTC this summer)? We don't mind living in the outskirts of town either, but we would like to stay within a 30 minute drive of Tampa. We currently live in AL, so most of our hunting will be done online. We will be making a trip out there in a few months to finalize everything. Any other advice/suggestions/concerns that you may have would also be appreciated!

I know I am being a typical first time preggers mom but I can't help but freak out a little. I have been having the worst time with constipation so my belly feels kinda crampy all the time. Now I am having some brown discharge. When I called my OB on-call last night she said not to worry unless it turns bright red but I am having trouble not thinking about it. Anyone else have this problem? Is everything ok??
