Hi guys. We just had a viability scan yesterday, and it has left me completely unsettled. We were expected to be 7w1d, but it measured 6w4d, which the Dr. said these ranges in size are completely normal at this point, but the heart rate was only 118...He told me he thinks we are okay, but I need to come back in a week to see if there has been any progression, as he couldn't get a clear view this time around. I have been a nervous wreck, and was wondering (hoping) if I'm overreacting. Anyone else have a similar experience that ended up okay?
I found that out because the day i tested and it came out positive . she has been very spacious from me for a couple weeks before then as well as a week after i tested. Maybe i have a different smell? Anyways she has gotten alot better now and is quite cute. She has been trying to sleep right on my tummy all the time or right beside it. Whenever my husband come nears me she has her little growl. Hahaha. Maybe she is trying to protect my little belly that isnt showing yet. Has anyone else have this happen with them with their pets?

So, just a heads up... if your doctors or Midwives are prescribing Diclegis for your nausea, make sure your insurance covers it. Mine does not and it cost $880! I was furious when I found out. It's the only approved anti-nausea med for pregnant women and it's a vitamin and antihistamine combo. WHY is it $880?!

However, on a funny note. When I called to complain to my insurance company, the lady tells me "oh, there's a generic alternative that is used for the same thing. Dronadinol". Ladies...that right there is the generic for Marinol. Synthetic marijuana. I almost peed my pants laughing. I said "I appreciate the hookup, but I'm pretty sure my midwife is NOT going to prescribe a pregnant woman Marinol" She apparently didn't realize that's what that was. o.O
We ended up doing an US and I saw the little sack with little blurry stuff at one end. Couldn't see much else... Dr. didn't look too hard and said it was as expected for this point on pregnancy. I still can't help but worry that I should've been able to see more. .
I'm approximately 6 weeks or a little less and had a scare this morning. I had just a bit of spotting this morning which of course was terrifying. My Dr. ordered blood work to check my levels and blood type this morning. The amazing news is my HCG levels are in the 14,000's which is awesome. My dr wasn't in the office this afternoon so the nurse isn't sure what the next step will be whether it'll be waiting until January 6th for the first ultrasound and appointment, or coming in sooner for the first appointment, or another hcg check on Thursday. Its such relief knowing my numbers are high.

I was exposed (with no symptoms of infection, although I did get destroyed by mosquitos one night in GC even after treating clothes, wearing bands, and putting on lotion) during our honeymoon in Jamaica and Grand Cayman at the end of July and beginning of August. I just got my BFP early yesterday, making me only 3w5d. I plan on calling my doc and seeing if they can give me an early appointment (I think most practices won't see patients until 6 weeks where I live.) Has anyone had it done? When and what was the waiting time frame for results?

Hi Ladies,

Are any of you still continuing with BBT tracking after you got your BFP? This is my first pregnancy so I'm wondering if I should continue or not. I've read that you should put down your thermometer or else any fluctuations would drive you crazy! But I feel like I should be temping still in case I see a sudden drop in temp I should be prepared for bad news. I'm only 4 weeks + 2 days so I'm still way early in the game!
