Trying to Get Pregnant

2ww waxing?

Couldn't find a previos post for this.

For those of you who wax...any input on a brazilian wax during a 2ww? In my head it is ridiculous that I'm hesitant to get it, but then again don't want to take any chances. I've been waxing for years, so not worried about pain or anything, just any disturbance that may cause for possible implantation (I'm 6dpo today).

I know usually ppl don't even know they're preg and continue normal lives, but you all know how it is when actively ttc.

Thanks!

You know the answer.  If we all put our lives on hold and changed our habits for the 2WW, we'd go nuts.  The only thing I change during the 2WW is I stop wondering when I'm going to O.

  • Why would a Brazilian wax affect implantation?  I really don't understand the train of thought here.

  • Unless you are planning on waxing the inside of your ute, I don't see how it would interfere with implantation.

Unless you're waxing your uterus, I am thinking it won't impact implantation.

Go get waxed.  There is nothing that is going to affect implantation.

I've actually known many women who have run marathons well into their pregnancies.  I would do it to if I were training for one when I got pregnant.  I ran all the way through my pregnancy with DS.  Also, I did a hard workout yesterday (swim/tempo run) and was 5DPO.  I wasn't concerned about affecting implantation.

Also, humans aren't meant to be sedentary creatures.  Our bodies evolved in such a way that pregnancy will go on, even if we do active things.  Crazy, I know.  I can't tell you how many evil glares I got from people when I would run by in full-on 39 week glory.

Edited because I meant to say humans aren't meant to be sedentary

Well as you all know, Brazilian waxing goes REALLY deep. Just tell them you don't want the Brazilian Blastie and you'll be fine.
