White circle with red dot in the middle

This is actually a mommy question, not baby!! I have noticed two places near my knee where there is a flat, circular place that is white and a tiny red dot in the middle of it. It does not itch. I have an appointment with my derm. on Friday... Any one know what this could be?

Looks like a bug bite. Or maybe something caused a cut on your leg- anything itchy inside your pant legs? Is the red dot a small scab? Have you shaved your legs recently?

Could possibly be an irritated hair follice... Would that cause a white ring? and for the red spot to blanch? I shave every 3-4 days...

My dad thought bug bite, too but it doesn't itch.

The small red dot is not a scab. I actually developed thousands of almost microscopic tiny red pinprick dots late pregnancy that are still there. OB said they were caused by pregnancy and weren't a big deal.

My skin gets like that when I'm getting a new mole or big freckle. If it doesn't hurt, itch or puss I'm sure it's nothing serious.

I saw my dermatologist and she confirmed that it was busted capillaries from pregnancy and the two areas with white patches are just not supplied with blood anymore. Harmless, but awful looking!
