Aaliyah is a good suggestions. I know a Nevaeh with a sister named Grace. Cadence, Brielle, Olivia, Emery, Skye, Savannah come to mind.

I'm just saying I think it would be incredibly appropriate!! While I agree most of the items that get flagged are not abuse you guys at least have to agree that they are snarky. And honestly I think this thread and it's responses were all in good fun, but at what point does it cross the line?

Oh I just meant it would be epic because it would have to be every single thread. I would be covered in Snarky Buttons.

I think when someone feels generally hurt by something strangers say on a public message board, it's just time to step back or maybe try a new board.

On TheKnot, if you abuse the flag button by using it when you disagree with someone (instead of when they actually said something against TOS), you can be banned.

I'm sure TheBump has the same rules.

I personally like the names Lana and Naomi. And I do not think any name is more or less special because it spells something backwards.

My too. Lana has always been on my long list actually. I think it hasn't made it to my short list because of the backwards thing.

Look, you have to know that you are going to get negative responses when you mention the name Nevaeh. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying it's bound to happen. I agree with the last three pp.

I love the name winter, I have a friend who used the name and before that I had never thought if it. They call we Win. It's super cute!

If you name your child Nevaeh that is up to you but most people side eye that name hard core and won't have a problem mentioning something since they are online. I honest thought you were crazy or very brave to start this thread. That said while the name is NMS it isn't my child and none of my business

Lastly I also really like the name Naomi as well. I didn't even get the backwards spelling until someone spelled it out for me.

I'm not sure of your surname or cultural/ethnic background but I'm Hispanic. My DD #2's middle name is Noemi pronounced no-Emmy. That's Spanish for Naomi (but I chose it because of it being a female variant of my dad's name).

I love Noemi. My BFF went to college with a Noemi and I've always thought it was unique and beautiful. It's a really good suggestion for OP.

We're naming our little girl Naomi. I know the whole imoan thing, but whatever, I think its a beautiful name.
