Have you all found that the baby's heartrate is an accurate predictor of the baby's gender? So far our baby has been between 155-168 BPM. The old wives tale would suggest that this indicates a girl. We will not be finding out the sex until birth but was just wondering if others have found this to be an accurate predictor.

@jellybelly119 I heard that if the heart rates are higher than baby polar bears, you are most likely having a baby alligator. Congrats to you and your little one!

Who would think an alligator would be so cute?? I can't wait to meet it!!
Mine was pretty close to the 170 mark at one appointment, so I've decided it must be a giraffe. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty intimidated about labor since they're often born at 6 feet tall and I'm only 5'2"

I really want a polar bear. But to be honest anything with all of its fans and claws is fine. Just makes it tricky to decorate - do you go with hanging dead seals or high tree branches? Dilemma.
Lol all these baby animals are adorible!! I swore up and down I was having a girl because the heartrate was at 165 but now it's at 155 and I'm expecting a little boy. So don't believe the heartrate predictor.
Re: Baby's Heartrate.
I unfortunately will not, because my baby's heart rate has been higher than that. I'm super jealous
