Hi All - so I just found out I'm pregnant and am new to the area. There seems to be so many choices: Columbia, Cornell, Roosevelt, Beth Isreal, NYU, with hundreds of doctor's offices to boot! I'm inclined toward natural birth, but otherwise open.
Any suggestions for locations and OBs?
Thanks!
Re: Where to give birth in Manhattan?
I gave birth to Columbia Presbyterian Uptown and I had a wonderful experience. I had a c section because the baby was breached and the doctor was amazing, I was very scared but everything went well beyond my expectation.
The office where I went to see my OBGY is on 60th St and Madison avenue, the office is very spacious and I never had to wait for too long.
The facilities is at:
16 East 60th Street
Suite 480
New York, NY 10032
Phone: (212) 326-8951
My doctor was Annette Perez-Delboy, M.D.

She was very nice and good.
I saw Dr. Ribaudo afterwards because Dr. DelBoy does only pregnancy, she was nice as well, and I heard that Dr. D'Alton is very good as well, I saw her at the hospital.
Silvana Ribaudo, M.D.

Mary E. D'Alton, M.D.

Hope this will help, good luck
