AFM - I am starting to feel a little better, but this sinus infection just will not end. I am still on Lupron, Vivelle Patches, and Estrace. I swear last month my boobs killed me from the moment I started on all of the estrogen, but nothing this month. Do you think that is a bad sign? I go for U/S and B/W on Wednesday the 12. Projected ET is November 19!!

AFM I had my 4 day appointment this morning. E2 was 269 yesterday and today it is 501. I currently have 12 follicles (which suprised me since I only have one ovary). One is 13mm I have a few at 12 and 10mm. The rest range from 6-9mm. The nurse thinks I'll be able to start centrotide tomorrow! So far I'm feeling great. Hopefully ER will be early next week. My poor husband is worried about missing opening day of deer season for ER or ET....how will he ever survive missing it?! Lol
QOTD: our families and friends know as well as a few of my co workers. We actually weren't supposed to start until December, but I didn't get put on bc so we decided not to tell our families that we started this month. I'm hoping to be able to surprise them with baby news at Christmas! That's one thing that sucks about IVF. There is no surprising anyone if they know you're doing it.
Hi ladies! I'm mobile tonight so it's difficult to comment individually but I'm happy to see that almost everyone is progressing well. I have my frozen transfer tomorrow and we still haven't decided on one or two embryos. I keep asking DH what he thinks and he just tells me we don't have to decide yet. I'm 32 so my doc recommends 1, but will do two if I want. I guess maybe we will flip a coin tomorrow!

Good luck tomorrow, @crazygirl7882! It is a tough call, how many to put back. I've done 1 (BFN), 2 (BFP singleton, mmc), and yesterday 3 (but Dr held out zero hope on 1). We'll see how that turns out in 2 weeks. Are they thawing 2 and potentially refreezing one? Do you get a report on embryo grades before you have to decide?

@Hollowvic quality matters more than quantity! @cwoodward777 I wouldn't worry too much. Equate it to PMS symptoms, they change cycle to cycle. @wcasar I was a slow responder with oral meds for IUI. For IVF, I stimmed for 12 days. IVF goes much quicker, thankfully! @blushingbride317 tell your husband the deer won't notice if he's a day late! @crazygirl7882 good luck tomorrow!
I had my 3DT today. All went well except they were an hour behind and I had been up for 24 hours and counting (thank you, night shift). We transferred 1 embryo. It was a perfect looking 8 cell. I'm officially PUPO!
We got a video of the fertilization because I enrolled in the Eeva study. We were both too tired to watch it, so we'll do that tonight when DH comes home from work. DH was so cute seeing his expression when he kept looking at the pics and he got excited to see the embryo go in. It's real now!

Hello Tiny Turkey's!! Sorry for being so quiet.I have just been dealing with DH and his reversal surgery. If I have not mentioned it before he was diagnosed with colon cancer Really ruff road but we are hanging in there. Started stims on Friday (October 31) Monday had blood work. Nurse called and change my Follistim injections from 225 to 150. Had an appointment Wednesday for sono and bloodwork. Doctor said everything looks good. Have an appt in the morning and then one on Saturday for Sono and bloodwork. Nurse said we should then know when egg retrieval would be

@Spring78 - we never received a written report but they verbally told me. I have 9 frosties and I think I have at least a few more AA rated. Doc said I didn't have to decide on one or two until I get there so I'm assuming they are thawing two. I guess we'll see how they look and decide on the fly.

Today is day 10 of stims for me. I just heard from my nurse about my monitoring appointment this morning. There are 25 follicles between 12-18mm. The majority are between 13-15mm with 1 at 17 and 1 at 18. E2 is at 2112. I still haven't started Cetrotide. The nurse said my LH was still low so no need for it yet. I'm to drop my dose down to 150 Follistim and keep the micro dose hCG at 10 units tonight. I go back in for monitoring in the morning.

I just got the call from my doctor's office that I am cleared to start stimming after my baseline appt this morning! I'm dropping my Lupron from 20 to 10 units and starting 225 units of Follistim tonight.
Hi turkeys! It's been a busy few days around here. Congrats to all the PUPO ladies out there and good luck with the TWW. For those of you stimming or post retrieval I hope everyone is getting/ gets good reports.
I heard this morning that all 10 of our embryo's are continuing to divide normally so we have been pushed to a 5dt which will happen on Sunday! I started the vivelle patch and Crinone yesterday. I'm probably the only person around here who would prefer PIO to Crinone, It grosses me out so much to use the gel, I would rather have a sore ass.
QOTD: We are completely out of the IF closet. I have a rather large family and once one person knows everyone does so it's no use trying to keep it secret. I feel like the more people who know what's going on the less likely it is that I will be put in awkward situations and people are generally more sensitive when it comes to announcements and baby showers. I'm also a very open person and have no problem sharing the gritty details of the whole IVF process with anyone who asks. I'm pretty sure they regret it later. lol

@Spring78 Thanks. I would love to share but his mother said sometimes its best to keep quiet because not everyone will be happy for you especially when they want the same thing. Believe me its hard to keep it but I have had a few losses and I dont want to be disappointed if it doesn't go thru and people asking me questions about it.
Today is day 7 of stimming. On day 6 my estradiol was 559 and I has lots of follicles between 8 and 10mm. They didn't actually count so I don't know how many. I go in for another monitoring appointment in the morning. I was suprised because they actually had me decrease my gonal-f dose on day 5. Last cycle the dose was increased twice, but never decreased.
QOTW: We are completely out of the IF closet. It is nice because we have lots of people to talk to, support and prayers coming our way. The only part that sucked was having to tell people about the BFN for IVF#1 over and over.
@Blueeyes233 I started cetrotide on day 6 of stims with IVF 1. I think it depends on your estradiol level?

3 Clomid Cycles in 2008- symptomatic, US just showed a tilted uterus, otherwise normal, HSG normal. DH has an ejaculatory duct obstruction and a congenital absence of the vas deferens. This is common with cystic fibrosis carriers, but he doesn't have cystic fibrosis. IVF #1 with TESE/ICSI (Antagonist protocol) Aug 2014=BFN (poor embryo quality) IVF #2 ICSI long lupron protocol November 2014

ER went well this morning! 12 eggs retrieved ( so happy... 1st ivf I only had 6). This is a freeze all cycle, so I can be moved out of stimming and to cycle complete (?). I'll get my fert report tomorrow, the the ones that survive to day 5 will be biopsied and frozen.
There is so much going on in this group. I love it. Good luck to all of those stimming and preparing for stims. I feel like once the stims start, time starts flying!

@wcasar I was a slow responder with oral meds for IUI. For IVF, I stimmed for 12 days. IVF goes much quicker, thankfully!

@Spring78 - we never received a written report but they verbally told me. I have 9 frosties and I think I have at least a few more AA rated. Doc said I didn't have to decide on one or two until I get there so I'm assuming they are thawing two. I guess we'll see how they look and decide on the fly.

Hi turkeys! It's been a busy few days around here. Congrats to all the PUPO ladies out there and good luck with the TWW. For those of you stimming or post retrieval I hope everyone is getting/ gets good reports.
I heard this morning that all 10 of our embryo's are continuing to divide normally so we have been pushed to a 5dt which will happen on Sunday! I started the vivelle patch and Crinone yesterday. I'm probably the only person around here who would prefer PIO to Crinone, It grosses me out so much to use the gel, I would rather have a sore ass.
QOTD: We are completely out of the IF closet. I have a rather large family and once one person knows everyone does so it's no use trying to keep it secret. I feel like the more people who know what's going on the less likely it is that I will be put in awkward situations and people are generally more sensitive when it comes to announcements and baby showers. I'm also a very open person and have no problem sharing the gritty details of the whole IVF process with anyone who asks. I'm pretty sure they regret it later. lol

I went for my ultrasound yesterday. Lining looks good. Bloodwork came back and they want me to do one more 0.1 of delestrogen. Start PIO tomorrow night. Ugggh. We are scheduled for 11/13 for FET. I'm getting nervous. We will be transferring 2 frosties and using embryo glue to hopefully make them stick.

@Spring78 Thanks. I would love to share but his mother said sometimes its best to keep quiet because not everyone will be happy for you especially when they want the same thing.
