Welcome to the TTFAS AL check-in. This check-in is for TTCAL-ers with living children to talk about the issues about TTCAL while you have a living child. Living children and pictures of living children are welcome here, however if your pictured child is an infant (< a year old), please do place a warning at the beginning of your post to alert ladies who are having a hard day. Good morning ladies! I'm sorry again for posting and running last week.

I hope everyone is having an alright week, if not here are some hugs

Unfortunately, I am still sick. Well, it's mostly a cough, but it still sucks! DD is finally back to sleeping normally again. I still don't know what was going on with her last week. It was like a combination of separation anxiety and being suddenly afraid of things around her room. It was a rough week for us.

Funny thing, this past Tuesday I woke up before DH got home and realized DD was still asleep. I waited for him to get home so we could have a "quickie" before my Mom got to the house before I left for work. We are NTNP this cycle, but I am temping (which DH really doesn't understand). Later that night DH asks me if I "took my temperature this morning, and that's why I wanted to have sex?" I laughed at him. I told him it really doesn't work that way. Especially since I was only on CD21 and I could O anywhere between CD23 and CD32 depending how long my cycle decides to be.

So that's me in a nutshell this week.

Not much to report here. We are still on he bench. We are 2 weeks into our 7 week protocol. The diet is going well. Lost a couple of pounds. Stomach is all black and blue. But I feel so much better.

Not much to report here, either, outside of the looming EDD. It feels a bit surreal. I'm having kind of a blah week so I've been doing some extra napping and eating. My diet will need a serious kick start again sometime soon!

Oh, also I had a regular Dr appt last week and my Dr did BW to test my TSH. It came back slightly elevated so I had to go back yesterday to get more BW to test my t3. I'll find out next week what those results are.

@squirmworms Yay for losing a couple pounds, but I'm sorry your stomach is all bruised.

@ambmama extra hugs lady! Just take care of yourself this week and you can always re-boot at another time!

AFM: We are not charting this cycle due to an unfortunate thermometer through the ear drum incident last week (DD stabbed DH in the ear with my basal thermometer, he's okay now but was in a lot of pain when it happened last week). Pretty sure I will never temp again, definitely a scarring incident. Anyway not sure if I O'd or not but we're covering our bases.

QOTW: I love alternative. Favorite bands right now are Grouplove and Weezer.

@angie9661 Yay no more nights for a bit! I'm with you on the long cycles. Most of mine are usually 40+ and last cycle was in the 30s and it shocked me! I'm waiting to see how this one goes.

@Sterling13 I'm sorry for your most recent loss! I hope the bleeding lessens for you soon. Take care of yourself!

@ellebelle2384 That is very scary! I hope DH is alright and no permanent damage was done. BTW what did Dh do to piss off DD?

@dani_brewer I'm sorry to welcome you here! As for the two cycles of waiting. It can be pretty typical. Hello ladies! I hope you all have a good weekend.

AFM: I'm currently 9dpo hoping that AF is prompt so I can all my RE early next week to start being monitored again, this time with medication. I'm not sure what meds yet, we haven't discussed it, but I'm assuming when I go in on CD3 we will.

Being very honest here, I'm so sick of TTC. I'm tired of seeing ungrateful woman get pregnant easily then complain the whole way, sick of woman being on #3, #4, etc.and I'm pissed that I've lost 3 angel babies and just want a rainbow so badly. I was talking to my therapist about my age and TTC. I will be 28 in Dec. ( I'm NOT saying that I'm getting old) and I feel like I have many reproductive years left and it's really stressful. I don't want to be going through this same shit in 10 years. I'm sorry if that offends anyone who is dealing with AMA, I never want to do that. I just hate this feeling and needed to express it.

QOTW: I spend most days listening to Kids Place live on the radio but I would prefer to listen to county music.

@tigerlynx31413 - They were actually playing together and she was being a doctor. She checked the temperature on his knee, in his belly button, his shoulder, and then before he knew it - WHAM! right in the ear.

She was really shocked afterwards and he was upset with her for the whole weekend but they're doing good now.

Sorry for the late response- I've been traveling solo for my best friend's wedding. It's been an exhausting few days, but sitting in the airport waiting for my connection home now. It was great to get away and just be me- no worries about losses, babies, anything to do with me really- it was nice just to focus on my friend. Now, back to real life. I've been having some Nast symptoms from the fibroids and meds for it, particularly since its compressingmy bladder. The medication doesn't seem to be doing much unfortunately. I have a surgical consult with a new OB on Wednesday, and I'm hoping to quality for a vaginal removal and get on with the show.

I think I found my new home! Please let me know if I am in the wrong place and I will slink away quietly and wish you all well. I wanted to get the OK of this check-in before I posted an intro on the main board as well, but will do that if this is really the right place. I have had a loss while TTC a sibling, but that is the only trouble we've had. Is this an OK place for that? I've intro'd on TTCAL but so much of what I want to talk about and my feelings revolve around my living child.

My husband and I just suffered a loss for a baby that would have been due 6/2/15. I started bleeding at 7 weeks and the miscarriage was confirmed by bloodwork. I was actually away from home on a work trip when it all started. @dani_brewer I so feel for you. It was so hard to be away from DH with this going on. I can't imagine not having him here for another whole week. We have one son born Feb. 13. A big part of my angst about the loss is that a June birthday would have been our ideal sibling spacing. The miscarriage and wait to TTC again (we are benched for two cycles) will put us over that even if we were to get pregnant immediately which I can't reasonably expect. I'm mourning for the baby, but even more I think I'm mourning the loss of the "perfect" family I had in my head.

@gothefawktosleep Hugs lady! I'm glad your OB is taking your concerns seriously. This process is much harder when the Drs act like we are irratic.

@mara005 Hugs to you too! I'm sorry you are having a rough time with TTC. I hope AF arrives soon so you can start your monitoring and medication.

@ellebell2384 Your H is silly. How could he really have been mad at her when she didn't know better. It's not like she did it on purpose.

@LauraO11 I'm glad you got that time away. Good luck tomorrow on your consult! I hope they agree with you.

@incir I am so sorry for your loss! You are more than welcome here. I'm not sure what your reservations about joining are, but you are more than welcome here. Hugs!
