Nope, not unless she starts to get really fussy and it's eatin' time. I'm catching on to her though, sometimes she just fusses to get some company back there!

I did on the way home from the hospital. After that I got used to being in the front with DH because I knew she would sleep the whole way. She still goes to sleep immediately when she gets in the car.
Yep. My kid HATES the carseat with a passion. If I sit back there then I can keep handing him his paci or my finger. The only thing that helps. I really hope that he outgrows it because I hate not wanting to leave the house when it's just him and me.
Yes b/c he hates the car seat usually. It's just easier to be in the back when he starts screaming. At least then I feel like I'm able to attempt to console him. I'm hoping with a convertible car seat, I can sit up front like a big kid again
No. I did on the way home from the hospital and I was so crammed in next to the carseat - if we'd been hit from the side I would have been killed, seriously. It did not feel safe for me at all, so that was it. I ride in front.
Wheee!

Whenever I can get away with it! I am scared of his driving though. He has actually never been in an accident and I have been in like 5! WTF is my problem?!
I always vowed I would never do it... but my kid hated the car! I dont need to any more but for a while he would scream and scream, so it helps to be right there with him.
I do, but I'd like to stop doing it but dh prefers it, he doesn't like to hear him cry while he's driving. Ds is often fussy in the car and it's a lot easier if I can just console him.??
Yes I do! Now that I think about it I can't really think of a good reason why I do. DS seems to handle it well if I'm in the front or the back. I guess it just became a habit.

Only when we brought DD1 home from the hospital.
I also can't fit between both carseats now. DD1 gives me updates on DD2 - 'Mommy, Baby Jilly is SLEEPING!' she yells to me.

Yes. I don't see anything wrong with that.
Plus, when we go on trips, the dog has to sit up front b/c he's too big to sit in back and I would NEVER let him sit in the back with DS.

Now, thankfully he can be distracted by toys!
