Hi All, My RE recently recomended I start taking a CoQ10 supplement along with DHEA to help with my egg quality. While I'm only 31 a blood rest came back with a somewhat mid to low AMH level. The ones she is recomending me are TheraNatal OvaVite it can be found on this site...https://www.theralogix.com
Has anyone else heard of this or is taking something like this?
Me:36 DH:38 TTC#1 since 4/2012 Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR, DH: normal

Thanks ladies! I have a Costco membership ill Check out the price there before ordering the online Suppliments. She didn't mention my DH needed to take then what are they supposed to do for him?
DH and I both took CoQ10 for this IVF cycle. Did it help? I have no idea, but this cycle we ended up with 5 decent quality embryos (Not stellar, but not terrible either) instead of the 3 poor quality embryos we had last cycle.
DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA
October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos
November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues. Converted to freeze all due to lining issues. 2 blasts frozen on day 6!
January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues
I don't think there is any harm in the CoQ10. I know my clinic is not big on DHEA as a supplement because it can increase your testosterone levels, which if your levels are already high can be problematic. I know many clinics do recommend it though. Let me see if I can find a link to the info on my clinic's website...

I took the ubiquinol form. It is supposed to be easier for your body to break down. Be careful with dhea. You need to have your levels monitored because it can be androgenic.
IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54
2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12

Im 28 with an undetectable AMH, so I'm on DHEA, CoQ10, and L-Arginine. DH is also on CoQ10, but I think as part of a blend. I've had DHEA and testosterone levels measured twice and adjusted my DHEA dosage after the first one.
