? about flu shot and vacation

DS has a pedi appointment coming up and I was thinking about get his (and DDs) flu shot then however we go OOT the next day for Xmas, the million dollar ? is would you get a flu shot that close to going OOT??

Sure, but my son has never reacted badly to any vaccine.

I wouldn't after J's seizure due to his fever with is 18 month shot.

My son did have an allergic reaction the first year he got the flu shot, so I would have said no last year. This year was not a problem, so......guess it could go either way.

H has had the vaccine before (no problems), N has not. ?

We had to with the flu shot this year - first dose before FL, second a bit after we came back. ?She was fine.

I definitely would if he had gotten one before. If not, i'm not sure. I think I would wait though.
