At DC today A didn't eat for 6 hours. Then the DC employee that is there daily states I think we need to feed him more he still appears hungry when he's done. I have no problem feeding him more but if he can sleep for 6 straight hours after a feeding I don't see the logic in her statement. The currently eats 4ozs. BM every 3 4 hours. I am so angry they let him sleep so long. He also has been acting a bit differently lately such as not sleeping in his crib, more BM's thoughout the day, color is good...drooling a lot and chewing everything. I am thinking growth spurt or teething. What do you think? Am I overreacting? 14 weeks for those on mobile

If LO is on a 3/4 hour schedule then I would certainly want DC to follow the schedule accordingly. I am sure LO was more hungry after a being asleep for 6 hours! that in turn will change his sleeping habits for you. I would talk with them about following your schedule. GL!
Well, since I don't let the babies sleep that long during the day I would be upset. I would be very clear with them about your expectations for your DS's schedule and how long he should go between feedings during the day.
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2 After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
I would be annoyed for sure. I would let the DC be very clear on your expectations. A similar situation happened with us, and I told them to never let her go more than 4 hours without eating unless they called me first. Otherwise wake her to eat. Especially that young!
TTC with PCOS since November 2009

Like OP I would have them follow your schedule. We had a problem once with ds sleeping too l long and I told them two naps were fine as long as they didn't except this amount of hours. And food I upped some but I still made them stick to every 3-4 hour feedings as well. When they change it up it messes with the schedule at home as well.

I've lived by the belief of never wake a sleeping baby so I don't know that I would have been upset. Babies go through so many weird little quirky days or weeks - like you said, when they are having a growth spurt, or teething, or even just learning something new, and during those times they are sleeping more because they need to.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

I do agree they go through changes or sleep more when sick. I am just talking about daily schedule. I am a stickler for sticking to them.
