Holy baby meltdown

DD has been screaming nonstop for four hours!! It started in cvs with her shrieking and people giving me stares like, what are you doing to that baby?? Ugh.. Then it's just gotten worse since we've been home. Finally getting her to calm down and nurse. She's been on a nap strike for about four days so she is a cranky pants and so is mommy!! I really hope this is the twelve week growth spurt and not something else! She seriously is crying like someone is hurting her and she usually stops when I pick her up but to no avail today. She wasn't having any of it! She has horrible reflux and has an appointment with a GI specialist in August , so I'm hoping that its just the growth spurt and not her reflux getting worse than it already is!

    Have you looked at her fingers and toes to see if there is a hair wrapped around anything?

    My GI told me 3 to 4 mo this is the peak for reflux and sometimes gets worse before it gets better..hope this is not ur case. Hopefully just a growth spurt and will be over soon

    Yes I have! I actually read an article about it on here and it freaked me out bc I do have long hair so I'm constantly making sure she doesn't have hair wrapped around anything!

    She's finally sleeping! Hope it stays that way. I'm not sure if its just the evening or what but that.was.whoa!

    You are NOT alone!  Our meltdown happened all of a sudden in Target...she screamed for 1.5 hours straight--Even in the car the whole way home.  I was at target to buy the supplies to make Gripe water, go figure, Irony at its finest!  She finally cried herself to sleep in her swing.  Gripe water is made and she woke up had a bottle, some gripe water and shes back to sleep, THANKFULLY!

    What do they have your baby on? Mine takes the Prevacid twice a day but it really doesn't seem to do much : her primary doctor said they might prescribe something else to go along with the Prevacid but never said what. Just curious!

    Thank you the receipe! I've been using mommys bliss gripe water but it doesn't seem to really have any effect on her. I will try this and if it works better!

    Must be the full moon. We had a crazy meltdown this morning and the only thing that stopped it was bouncing on an exercise ball with him. Followed by a 4 and a half hour nap this morning, oh and he went to bed for the night apparently at 5:30. wth are you up to, baby?!

    This happened with my little guy a few weeks ago and i actually took him to the dr because it was going on two days of screaming as of he was in pain, turns out his belly was distended and it was terrible gas. I ended up changing his formula and he was much better. Funny thing is that I had him on gentlease formula for gas and fussiness... Go figure. He's back on infant and handles it well.

    In the bottom of her mouth there are two little white area but I can't feel anything bc I was wondering if it was teething also. It still could be I guess they just haven't broken through enough for me to feel.
