Nap times

What times does your 3 month old take naps at? How many naps and how long?

It is inconsistent.... She normally plays for two hours then needs some sort of nap. but it depends on if i hold her, let her comfort nurse or put her down. She norm takes 34 naps a day. In the morning she typically takes a good nap anywhere from an hour to two and a half hours. Then, two hours later she norm takes an hour nap... The rest of the day it is 20 min naps still only two naps or she will sleep on me for an hour to two and a half hours. Needless to say by 4 or 5 pm I am just holding her so she gets some amount of sleep.

My LO typically takes 3 to 4 naps a day. They are not usually longer than an hour. If he does nap longer than an hour it is during his first nap of the day. I've had a very awake baby since birth. He came out and opened his eyes and he hardly closes them lol.

He also fights his sleep pretty badly during the day. Is this typical? He's been doing it since he was about 8 weeks old.

Before his crazy sleep changes and general changes all around. He was napping 2-3 hours after waking up for the day. Sleeping for about 3 hours average. So basically if he woke up at 9am (which he was before.) He wouldn't nap until 11am, then back down around 2:30... then back down around 7:30.. then he would have a mini nap at that time and wake up at 9pm, and went to sleep for the night around 11pm or midnight.

Right now, he sleeps for a maximum of 45 minutes now, every three hours or so. If I try to put him down before those three hours.. he fights me for that duration. If I put him down later than 3 hours, he gets really irritable and sleeps even less. At night he sleeps a maximum of 2 hours at a time now.

Mine vary but on average baby gets up at 9. First nap around 10:30 for about an hour. Second nap at 1 which is usually her longer one about two and a half hours. Another one around 5 or 6 depending on how long the nap before was. Next nap around 7 or 8. Then bed around 9 or 10. I will probably just eventually make her bedtime 7 or 8 and cut that nap out.

Can you tell me how your baby sleeps till 9?? Lol I thought DS was a great sleeper, but 9 would be awesome!!

My 4 month old has been taking 3 to 4 naps per day for a while now. On a "typical" day he is up around 7:30 and takes a mini 30 minute nap soon after waking. He takes either a super long morning or afternoon nap, about 3 or more hours. The rest are cat naps around 45 to 60 minutes at most. Bedtime is about 8:30

It would be even more awesome if my two year old slept in til 9 but I still consider myself lucky... he gets up anywhere from 7 to 8:30. 7 is more the norm but I love when he sleeps in too!

A good day is: up by 7:30ish. Nap for an hour at 9:30, 1, 3, 5. (Give or take an hour) Sometimes if one nap is missed he'll do a 2.5 hour nap for one of those. That's a really good day....like today.

Sometimes he'll be up for five hours, then will take one looooong nap

He normally wakes up around 7am, and our routine consists of eat, play, sleep. After about 90min he's usually yawning and rubbing his eyes so I know it's time for a nap. Sometimes we make it to 2 hours. With that being said, he takes 34 naps every day. One of them is long, the rest maybe 45 minutes. But they aren't at any set times during the day.

LO is almost 4 months old. She was taking typically 4 naps a day. Now she's been taking 3. At least one nap is typically long, 1 1/2 hours. The other 2 may be anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes. She takes naps about 90 minutes after each of her first 3 feedings of the day (she wakes around 7:00am, which is her first feeding, and feeds about every 3 hours). Hope that makes sense

My DD right now loves to boycot naps at the moment! She used to take 3 long naps everyday anywhere from 2-4 hours at a time! Now, I get the same 3 naps anywhere from 10-20 mins. Yay! Praying this stops soon! I miss my great sleeper

We have absolutely no consistency. Right now she takes one long nap after lunch, usually 2 to 3 hours. She generally takes a shorter morning nap and a short evening nap.

DD takes 3 to 5 naps a day ranging from 45 mins to 2 hrs long.

She has 2 morning naps, 2 afternoon and 1 evening. No set time because her bedtime and morning wake up time are slightly different every day.

Usually its
Wake up 8 to 830am
Nap 930 to 11
Nap 1 to 2
Nap 330 to 430
Nap 630 to 730
Sometimes another nap before bedtime or her last nap turns into bedtime.
Bedtime anywhere from 830 to 1130

He takes naps after being awake for 90 minutes to two hours throughout the day. the naps usually last 30min to one hour with one long one around mid day so our schedule looks like this:

7:30 am get up

9:30 first nap

12noon long nap - 2 hours

4:00 pm nap

then he is usually up until around 7:30 when we start his bath time and bedtime routine, he goes down at 8pm.
