AWing my nursery (pip heavy)

We are finally finished working on the nursery and my MIL and Aunt-IL were requesting photos, so I thought I'd be a total attention whoar and post them here too. Sorry about the crappy lighting, it is storming outside so there isn't any sunlight coming through the window and the flash just washes everything out.

It is a VERY small room so we opted to remove the closet doors to save space, as they previously swung out and took up too much room. Just in case anyone was wondering why there are no doors.

Very cozy. I like the initials on the wall and the warm atmosphere. Ours is so small that we too have to maximize the space that we DO have and I can totally see where you're coming from with the closet. It's beautifully organized though! Great work!!

This is beautiful!! I love the lighting, and have also been considering a side table next to my nursing chair. And this totally makes me want to hang the poms from my shower. I'd been on the fence bc the weirdo in me is concerned about having to dust them, but yours really pull the room together. Well done!!

I love the colors and the bunting on the crib! I made bunting for our wedding altar and want to use it in the baby's room. Our closet doesn't have doors either.

Thanks ladies. I'm so happy to have this finally done. I was just getting depressed every time I walked past the room seeing it unfinished and full of boxes of furniture and stuff I ordered online. I finished it all in one weekend. I'm exhausted but it was worth it to be able to check it off the to-do list.

It is the tiniest room in the house (short of the bathrooms) and it was a real challenge to fit everything in there and still have walking room and not be too cluttered. Luckily we have a playroom because she won't be able to do any playing in her room like DS can in his room. Oh well.

I can't wait to see everyone else's nurseries when they are done

It looks beautiful!!! I finally bought a new crib for baby somce DD decided she still wanted a 'baby bed' and I put it up last night... I have a feeling this baby's room might take awhile still! I really love how warm yours looks even with a cool color!

I love the poms. How are they attached to the ceiling? I think you've used the space really well! Our nursery is very tiny and it took a while to figure out how things were/are going to fit.

The Pom poms look fantastic! The whole room is really so cozy and beautiful. I definitely don't want to be Debbie downer but I assume that you plan on removing the flag string across the front of the crib? It's a major chocking hazard. Maybe put it on the wall above the bed out of reach? I'm sure you already thought about this.

Absolutely. It was a random rainy day project as I never intended on doing a bunting at all. I'll find somewhere to hang it once she starts sleeping in her crib, which will be a few months out.

Haha. DS was curious about the car seat, and DH needed a refresher on how to put a baby in the seat. We did some practicing over the weekend with our little sock monkey.

They are the Ikea Ribba picture ledges. They are for pictures but they work really well for books too. They come in 2 lengths and a few different colors, we got the smaller size for $9.99 each.

LOVE the wall color with changing pad cover. If LO was a girl, I would have gone with a very similar color scheme. You did a great job putting it together.
