Hey ladies, I'm headed to the beach tomorrow and need to buy some sunblock. What's safe during pregnancy? What are you using? TIA!

    I've read avobenzone and oxybenzone should be avoided. Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are safer options I've used neutrogena baby in a pink and white tube and an aveeno natural spf 50 in a vanilla and orange colored tube.

    I used the Banana Boat Baby with SPF 30 when we went to Jamaica.

    I used aveeno baby SPF 30 in FL last week. I still peeled on my back, but I don't think I applied enough back there and never reapplied.

    I used the Alba Botanicals in the green tube on our beach vacation and it was wonderful! DH and I both used it and never got burnt, even after taking dips in the water. It's titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, which are both physical sunblocks. Like PP said, it's the chemical sunscreens you want to avoid. The only thing is the physical sunscreens do tend to leave a whitish cast.
